Former President Barack Obama Warns Democrats, Call for Action
Former President Barack Obama made an unannounced campaign stop at a field office in Pittsburgh and called on Black man specifically as the Presidential election between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump draws closer.
Obama issued a call to action to Black men during his speech.
“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses; I’ve got a problem with that,” Obama said, according to The Hill. “Because part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
Harris has surpassed Trump with women, but she is underperforming with Latino men and Black men, which were two voting blocs key to Obama’s rise to the Presidency, and recent polls show that both Joe Biden and Hilary Clinton were ahead of Harris with those groups when they ran in 2016 and 2020.

Kamala Harris Distances Herself from Biden’s Comments
Vice President Kamala Harris is in the midst of the most important week as Election Day draws closer, and is distancing herself from President Joe Biden’s comments earlier this week in which he appeared to refer to supporters of Donald Trump as “garbage.”
“First of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear. I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for,” Harris said, according to The Hill. “You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career. I believe that the work I do is about representing all the people, whether they support me or not,” Harris added. “And as president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans whether you vote for me or not.”
Biden made waves on Tuesday when he appeared to compare supporters of Trump to garbage when commenting on the racist joke made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, aimed at Puerto Rico, during a Trump rally earlier where Puerto Rico was referred to as an “island of garbage.”
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden seemed to say in a video clip that has gone viral on social media. “His, his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American. It’s totally contrary to everything we’ve done, everything we’ve been.”

Chris Christie Questions Donald Trump’s Mental State
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, once an ally of former President Donald Trump but now a critic, has become one of the latest voiced to sound the alarm over Trump’s supposed mental decline, according to The Independent.
“He wasn’t as good in 2020 as he was in 2016,” Christie said, during an interview with The New York Times.
“I saw decline in his skills in ’20 from ’16, and you see significant declines still. What masks it is that he is still physically pretty vibrant and energetic, unlike the president.”
“But if you listen to him and his ability to make a point, it’s not nearly as good now as it was in 2016, not nearly.”
Trump’s campaign said that the Republican candidate is “in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief”.
“He has maintained an extremely busy and active campaign schedule unlike any other in political history, whereas Kamala Harris has been unable to keep up with the demands of campaigning and reveals on a daily basis she is wholly unqualified to be President of the United States,” claimed Steven Cheung, Trump campaign spokesperson in a statement. “Her schedule is much lighter because, it is said, she does not have the stamina of President Trump. Polls are reflective of this.”
Trump, 78, is now the oldest presidential candidate in American history. Should he win the election in November he will be 82 when he completed his term and leaves the White House.
President Joe Biden, 81, dropped out of the 2024 Presidential race following concerns about his competency that were heightened following a disastrous Presidential debate earlier this year.

Donald Trump Fires Back at Kamala Harris After She Shares Medical Report of ‘Mental Resilience’ to be President
Former President Donald Trump is firing back at Vice President Kamala Harris after Harris released a health summary from her White House physician, stating that Harris “possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.”
Harris’ physician Joshua Simmons writes that she is in “excellent health” in a summary that was released on Saturday. This comes as chatter increased regarding Trump’s health and age to serve as President should he beat Harris in the November election.
Simmons shared that Harris, 59, had certain health issues, including her nearsightedness, as well as seasonal allergies triggered by pollen, and urticaria—a common skin condition that causes itchiness and redness.
Trump continuously railed on President Joe Biden regarding his age and abilities to lead the country prior to his dropping out of the race, and after Biden raised serious concerns following a horrible Presidential debate earlier in the year.
